Baby peas have no eyes.

After watching my mother struggle with ovarian cancer these past two years, your perspective on living can’t help but be radically altered. There are things I wish I’d gotten done sooner. Other things I wish I’d appreciated more. Things I wish I had time for now. There is no such thing as normal and nothing is on a schedule, and your life experience won’t follow the same timeline as anyone else. You may think this isn’t the time when you should expect to have to take care of your parents, but there is no set time. It may seem like your parents are still young but they’re older than you think. Don’t wait for anything, now is the only thing there is for sure. And now is so fleeting you just can’t imagine.

Regret gets one nowhere … you’re there now and now is all that matters.
